Agile Scrum Master & Product Owner
Agile Scrum Master Certification Training
Agile Scrum covers the Agile Scrum project management approach through dynamic lessons and hands-on activities with the goal of producing quality end products for customers. This course provides the information to successfully pass the Scrum Master certification exam. Course hours may be applied toward professional development units (PDUs).

Agile Product Owner Certification Training
Course builds understanding of the Product Owner who represents the customer’s voice on the Scrum team. Participants are prepared to sit for the SCRUMStudy exam for the Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC®) certificate. Course hours may be applied toward professional development units (PDUs).
Learning Objectives
- Understand Agile methodologies and how they differ from traditional project management ones.
- Define the roles of Product Owners and other Agile team members.
- Understand key Agile metrics relevant to the Product Owner role.
- Learn to articulate a clear product vision and maintain a sustainable pace for the team.
- Understand the product backlog’s purpose and how to prioritize and manage backlog items.
- Identify key stakeholders and how to manage and prioritize their feedback and requirements.
- Explain release planning and iterative development.
- Implement effective review and retrospective techniques and apply Agile practices to mitigate and manage risks.

Manage Yourself, Your Team, Your Organization
This module establishes participants’ understanding of the importance of the project manager’s commitment to delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the agreed upon objectives (Measures of Performance).
Learning Objectives
- Manage Yourself: Build confidence in leading a team to successful project implementation.
- Manage Your Team: Learn the seven keys to effectively selecting and managing a high performing project team. Build skills in establishing appropriate agreements, building productive relationships and monitoring work to ensure successful completion.
- Manage Your Organization: Learn to effectively use their authority and influence and to advance a project and hold others accountable, including project staff, peers, supervisors, project sponsors, steering committees, suppliers, and vendors. Learn to use positive reinforcement, constructive criticism and behavior analysis.
Typical Course Length: 8 hours
Manage Your Work
This module provides proven tools and techniques for successful project planning, scheduling and controlling. Participants will learn a proven approach to shorten project duration, manage communication, provide concise status reports and keep projects on track for on-time and on-budget delivery.

- Develop a project scope statement that provides clarity and reduces the chance of scope creep.
- Understand and use common techniques for planning and scheduling project work.
- Calculate the critical path for a simple project.
- Learn methods for compressing the time required to complete a project.
- Know how to establish a project baseline.
- Understand the critical elements of risk identification, mitigation, and control.
- Identify methods for managing project changes and developing and implementing project lessons learned.
