Once you have been offered aid, you will be notified through your CCCS email account and your aid offer information will be available online through eWOLF. You will be offered aid based on your eligibility and the information you submitted on your FAFSA. What you are offered will also depend on when you filed your FAFSA and when you submitted the documentation (if any) that was needed by our office for verification.

Tuition & Fees and Your Financial Aid

Take the time to review your student bill, which will be available through eWOLF. Compare your bill to your financial aid offer to make sure you have enough to cover your tuition and fee charges. Use the information available on our Disbursement of Funds page to judge what amount of financial aid will pay toward your charges based on your enrollment.

You will typically be offered aid either for the fall & spring semesters or for the spring & summer semesters. The total amount of any aid offer will be split between two semesters so keep that in mind when determining whether you have enough aid to cover tuition and fees.

Tuition and fees minus financial aid =

a negative number means that you can expect a refund

a positive number means that you will still have an outstanding balance

If you still have a positive balance remaining (meaning you owe money) after your financial aid has been deducted, you can learn about the payment options that the Cashiers Office has available for students.

Information about how refunds are issued can be reviewed on the Disbursement of Funds or the refunds page. Please carefully read this because there are circumstances that will affect the amount of financial aid that you can receive.

Terms and Conditions

You will be asked to review and agree to the Terms and Conditions of your financial aid offer at Front Range Community College. You can review the information now, but you will need to formally accept online once you have been officially offered aid.

What Can Change the Amount of Your Aid Offer

Even after being offered aid, there may be changes that our office will have to make. Below is a list of some of the items that may result in a change in your eligibility even after you have been offered aid:

  • You are selected for verification as a result of a change you made to your FAFSA.
  • You dropped a class after a financial aid disbursement was made and an adjustment is required.
  • You were reported for "non-attendance" for a class that financial aid either paid for or is scheduled to pay for.
  • You have been offered work-study funds but have not utilized them.
  • We are notified by another school that you are receiving aid at their institution.
  • You receive a third party payment on your behalf.
  • You receive a scholarship from a third party.

Special Circumstances

FRCC Financial Aid Office recognizes that the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) may not always portray a clear picture of your current financial situation. If the FAFSA does not adequately reflect your current household situation or your financial circumstances have changed since you submitted the FAFSA, there may be an option to reevaluate your financial aid eligibility.

Circumstances that will be considered for a reevaluation could include:

  • Loss of employment
  • Loss or reduction of income
  • Separation or divorce
  • Death of a parent or spouse
  • High unreimbursed medical and/or dental expenses
  • Change in household size or relationship with parents

If you would like to see if your circumstances qualify, please submit the professional judgment intake form. If you'd like more information on the professional judgment process, we encourage you to contact our office to discuss this process with a financial aid advisor.
